Banff, Canada | 2019

So delayed, but these photos and this place are just way too beautiful not to share. I went to Banff back in July and these views still bring me so much joy. Yesterday I did a visualization activity that involved imagining a peaceful plot of land. What do you see in the distance? What sounds do you hear around this place in nature? What does it smell like?

It’s funny, as I’m reminiscing on Banff and these photographs today, I’m noticing that my visualization looked a lot like these photos; lots of pine trees, water, and mountains in the distance. Really the only difference I’m noticing is that my visualization had a lot more sun!

If you get the opportunity, I would highly recommend spending some time in Banff. A few highlights of the trip for me were canoeing on the Bow River, hiking to the Lake Agnes Tea House from Lake Louise, the Johnston Creek hike, and literally just looking at Moraine Lake (that aqua blue, so unbelievable in real life).
