I'm gonna keep it real for a sec and tell you that as much as I love this embellished tank I don't actually own it. These pics were taken for a social media styled shoot I put together for Free People last month featuring some of my favorite items that are available right now. This might be a good time to also point out the cute chin acne situation I had going on at the time and the large an mysterious bruise on my leg in these photos. I'm nowhere near perfect people.

I feel like I haven't been great at sharing what’s on my mind in this space lately, but to be honest that’s probably just because it’s a whole smorgasbord of thoughts floating around these days and really nothing too profound. But since writing about my thoughts is generally what I do here, prepare to be enlightened by what’s been going on in my brain these days…

I’m obsessing over how kind and down-to-earth Amy Poehler seems now that I’m finally reading her book, “Yes Please.” The only people who know how to really do summer are midwesterners. Are my hips getting bigger? People are playing Pokemon and I’m over here rocking chokers and denim skirts again. This is not what I was expecting for 2016. Eat Pray Love was authentic and relatable in the beginning, but kind of boring and over-rated in the end. I wish there was some type of platform that could help creative people and left-brained people understand each other better. I can’t help but notice that Audrey Hepburn plays the same character in all of her movies. I really, really, really, like ice cream. I want some more plants on my windowsill and prints above my bed. Life should be more like that poster that was in almost every elementary school classroom that depicts an image of the Earth with a bunch of people of different colors holding hands around it. People can be so mean (yes I realize how corny this is). Saving money sucks. When I have more money someday I will curate an epic and organized shoe collection. I really, really, really like ice cream.
