The metallic look is aways a hit for the holiday season, which is why you'll be seeing a lot of it in the upcoming months. It may seem like a style reserved just for the holidays, but if you're going to spend the money on these glitzy items, you might as well decrease the CPW (cost per wear) of them! So once again, my brilliant collaborate, Ali Coates, worked with me to pick out functional online finds for you to shop the look & give a couple tips on how to get the most out of your metallic purchases:

Styling metallics can often be a daunting task, but that doesn’t mean you need to wait until New Year’s Eve to bust out the shine. When it comes to glitter and glitz, there are ways to pepper in brightening pieces while still staying on seasonal trend.

1. Pretty Piggies

Adding a unique shoe to an otherwise neutral outfit is the perfect way to incorporate a bold look by adding personality without overpowering your day look.

2. Cute Clutch

Another way to subtly shine is to add a metallic clutch or bag to the outfit. Gold, a warm tone, can pull an outfit full of bright colors together as well as mixed prints.

3. Soft Fabrics

Since metallics can often be distracting and loud, keep an eye out for printed metallics on soft fabrics. A skirt or pair of pants with a neutral background is a great way to incorporate.

Hope you're all surviving Monday ;)
