Magic Market Week

I’m back from my buying trip in Vegas at Magic Market Week! If you’re not familiar with what Magic is, it’s the biggest trade show in the U.S. where buyers go to curate their stores. Overall, it’s a huge fashion event and it’s pretty likely that you’ll run into some people of high status…I even bumped into Emily Schuman who was there promoting her new clothing line #fangirlmoment. As you can imagine it can be hard to dress for such an important fashion event while combining comfort for all the walking. And there is so much walking you guys! Day one I opted for my faux leather leggings and my Woodbury Lane striped top paired tennies which saved my feet. Day two I went with a simple linen top, destructed jean shorts, and my favorite pointy toe flats. Not pictured: the ugly tote bags and lanyards you need to have with you all day.

This was my first Magic experience and I’ll be honest I was a little overwhelmed. Especially since I already pre-determined what the Spring line for Woodbury Lane was going to look like. I needed to find brands that combined the right color palettes, price points, and quality. I must say I am pleased with the result. You can expect to see some pretty blush tones, muted greens, and windowpane prints next year :)

When I wasn't at the show I was walking the strip, people watching, snapping pics, and taking it all in. I've included some pics of my favorite views throughout the week!
