Poolside Summer

I’m back! From a very unintentional blogging break. If you’ve visited KN at all in the past week or two you may have noticed some MAJOR glitches on the site due to an update. I was determined to not spend a million dollars getting it repaired which meant it took much longer to diagnose and fix than I would have liked. Instead of stressing and pulling my hair out about the problem which was way over my head, I took these past two weeks to really soak up the last moments of summer we have left. Truthfully, a lot has changed.

A few days before my blog went haywire, I had to put down my family dog, Lucky. He was 15 years old and we had him since he was one and a half. As you can probably imagine it was heartbreaking to lose what might have been the best part of my childhood and young adult life. It was the saddest I had felt in a long time. I knew I was going to take that week off anyway to avoid ultra-depressing blog posts, but I continued to cherish the sunshine last week as well with biking around the city, pool days (in this unique suit from Anthropologie - Same style: bottoms, one piece), Jazz in the Park, and my favorite - stand up paddle boarding! I feel refreshed and psyched to be writing again :) xo
