Alright folks here it is, 5 delicious ways to get your pumpkin fix this season! You should know that I have actually made and tried all of these recipes so I could provide an accurate description :)
Pumpkin Pie Bites
Pumpkin pie is my absolute favorite, but sometimes a whole slice is too much, especially for dessert on Thanksgiving when you’ve already had to unbutton your pants thanks to all the other amazing homemade delights you’ve devoured. So, although this recipe doesn’t say to bake them in mini muffin tins, I chose to. It just changes the bake time to about 11 minutes instead of 20. Serve cold and top with whipped cream! Here’s the link.
Pumpkin Pecan Pancakes
Say that one three times fast! Once again I like to change up the recipes that I find a bit to cater to my taste, so although this recipe did not call for pecans, I added them. I also added a little more vanilla for some more sweetness. The title of this recipe is extremely accurate however, they are so light and fluffy which is how I like my pancakes! Here’s the link.
I’ve already posted this recipe, but since waking up to a pumpkin flavored breakfast is something I get really excited about, it makes my top 5. In the original post of this recipe I mentioned you could add peanut butter for some extra filling nutrients. The last time I made it I did add the peanut butter. I didn’t think it was possible, but the PB made it even better :) Here’s the original recipe post.
Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Muffins
This one makes my list because of it’s simplicity. All you do is take a pumpkin quick bread/muffin mix and add a can of pumpkin and BAM you have a snack set for the whole week! I like to add dark chocolate chips and oatmeal sometimes too, so yummy!
Pumpkin Chai Latte
This is a perfect recipe cause you get to have a tasty treat without having to even leaving your house! Not to mention having the crockpot going on a lazy sunday with the aroma of pumpkin filling the house might be one of the greatest things about fall. Click here for the recipe.
Peace, love & pumpkin ;)
