Hi.

Welcome to my blog. This is where I document my adventures as a 20-something. Hope you enjoy!

Welcome to Woodbury Lane + Giveaway

Today I am revealing a major project and career choice that's been in the works for months! To be quite honest, I don't know how to word this post without people thinking I'm crazy. So here goes: I'm 23 years old, I have a degree in Psychology, and I'm starting my own business. Crazy right? But I can't help feeling like I am making the right decision. I've come to learn that everyone goes through life at a different pace, making major decisions at different times. My career path was chosen later than most people and I am content with that. Now, since I can't wait any longer to tell you what Woodbury Lane is, read on...

Woodbury Lane will be on online shop for women, think boutique type items without boutique prices. The goal is to offer women styles that can come together to create effortless & contemporary outfits, providing WL customers with that coveted working wardrobe. Of course we'll be aiming for the perfect balance between high quality and reasonably priced items, but since this is not always going to be do-able keep your eye out for the Luxe Collection which will include even greater quality pieces and Woodbury Lane exclusives at a slightly higher price point. Other things you can expect and look forward to include home good finds, unique gifts, and of course accessories! There is no official launch date yet, but you can expect to see this thing go live early 2015! #getexcited

For the past month, I've been working hand in hand with Lindsay of White Oak Creative on the branding process which we are starting to wrap up. I knew I wanted something classic and minimal. Something that will withstand the test of time and I think she has captured these qualities precisely in the following logos :)

I'm so thankful that I've already raised over 1,000 dollars that has gone towards paying for licenses, permit, domain names, etc. Basically all of the behind the scenes stuff ;) Without giving too much more away or boring you with every little detail that's been carefully thought out in my head for the past few months, lets get to the giveaway*! Here's what is up for grabs for one lucky winner:

- 5x7 print which reads "The grass is greener where you water it" by Brim Papery
