Okay, looking at these photos while sitting inside, shielding myself from blustery Midwest wind and grey skies is a bit torturous. My apologies for subjecting my northern followers to this for over a year. How cruel of me. I promise a heavy dose of layered looks in the upcoming spring months. They call this piece I’m wearing a "maxi jumper", a name that I am grateful for otherwise I would have called them "pant-suspender-thingies" and I think “maxi jumper” has a nicer ring to it. Any piece that can make a plain white tee look exciting is a win in my book and I was thrilled to be wearing pink pants this day at the market. It was a nice deviation from my everyday blue jeans.  

On the life update front, if you haven't noticed from social media (or the beginning of this post), I'm back in Milwaukee and done traveling for awhile now while I get everything in order for settling in Chicago. Thank you to everyone who has warmly welcomed me back to the midwest! I'm so excited to share the photos and outfits from my road trip on the blog soon!
