After all of the ups and downs of last year, I was left feeling as though nothing goes according to plan. In 2016 I’ve set aside a lot of goals and planning and have just flowed a lot more with whatever direction life has steered me in. It's been great! But lately, I’ve had some renewed faith in having a plan and along with that I’ve noticed that it never ceases to amaze me how much control fear has over us. Just about anyone you meet could tell you about their aspirations and sadly many of those people aren't working towards them because they're afraid. They're afraid of failure, or what other people think of them, or of making the wrong choice. I think that fire within all of us is actually a silent pull in the right direction. Your intuition if you will. Today I had a bit of a lightbulb moment when I realized that these things that we are fearful of tend to be the most rewarding. Marriage? Having a kid? Quitting a job? Moving to a new state? They're all incredibly scary decisions that people make and I’m pretty certain that these are also the things that lead us to greater experiences and leaving us the most fulfilled.

Sometimes I think we feed into fear and multiply it by putting our ambitions on hold. We actually convince ourselves that we’re better off not doing the things we’re fearful of and in that process forget what it feels like to do what we’re put on this earth to do. Listen to the cues your mind and body give you. What makes you feel the most at peace and satisfied? Do that thing.

 Don’t lose your fire people. Take a leap of faith once in awhile and know that you’re not alone ♥

I'm not making any life-changing decisions over here, but I do have some fears that I'm trying to tackle. One of them being revamping my YouTube account to share more vlog style content in the future…
