Cruising style: Day to Night
One of my favorite aspects of cruising is getting gussied up for dinner each night. Shocker right? ;) To me the core of a well balanced vacation is laid-back, make-up-less days and fancy, well-fed evenings. That's exactly what you get on a cruise. A few weeks before we left, I had a poll on my Facebook page to help me decide which one-piece swimsuit to purchase for the trip. I'm glad the stripes won because A) I wan't constantly adjusting the suit and B) Well…stripes! How happy is everyone that one-pieces are sexy and cool again? Personally, I'm ecstatic…the timing of this seems impeccable.
Not only was the suit a go-to on vacay, but so was this dress. I didn't plan to wear it more than once, but when dinner rolled around on the last evening I wasn't digging the final outfit I had packed. So I slipped on this chambray dress again and switched out my accessories, because you just can't go wrong with chambray.
Also, YES I am aware of the terribly blurry and grainy quality of the evening photos above. I suppose that's to be expected when I'm not vacationing with my photographer, but I'm certainly not above sharing my ensemble with you regardless :)
