Little Record Girl
Etienne Field Shorts (on sale) | Fleetwood Mac Destructed Tee | Royale Flats
Well this is a first for me...writing a post at 4:30am at the airport (heading home)! Considering I posted this on Instagram last night I’m holding myself accountable. I’m currently surviving on about three hours of sleep and no caffeine because I’m awake even before Starbucks. A sure sign that it’s much too early. Bear with me folks.
I knew I needed this shirt the second I saw it. Not because I’m a diehard Fleetwood Mac fan or an avid concert goer of any kind - I won’t pretend to be something I’m not - but because it’s an iconic tee that I plan on wearing for the rest of my life. That’s the cool thing about icons, they never go out of style. I’ve recently been taking into consideration the life of my clothes before I buy them. And I’m not just talking cost per wear or if I’ll still like it in 2-3 years from now (that's something I've always considered). I’m talking about classic pieces that I might want to bring back decades later. Lucky for me Free People has a lot of options in this department :)
Back to music though, like I said I’m not one of those people who scope out new artists on the daily. To be honest I’m perfectly fine with listening to that crap you hear on the radio most of the time, or playing one song on repeat for days (I’m super guilty of this and this Avett Brothers tune is my current victim). But another thing I love about fashion is the connection to music and all things creative. Thanks to my job I’ve been able to discover a bunch of new tunes that I can’t stop listening to. I’ve made a Spotify playlist of these current jams for y’all to check out.
Now you’ll know what I’m listening to on my flight, which by the way is about to board. Sayonara Florida!
xx
