Summertime Sadness

These photos make me sad. Yeah yeah, they're all bright and cheerful, but I think they might be the last look for summer of 2015 :( August has been super hot and humid (just how I like it) up until a few days ago when temps dramatically plunged to around 60. I may have mentioned before that anything below 75 is "cold" in my opinion. Sure boots, cardigans, and all things pumpkin will be nice, but I'm just not ready to say goodbye to summer!

Back when it was hot I had these short (similar here) and gladiator sandals on repeat, usually just switching out the top depending on the occasion. I can be simple like that at times. When I find a great pair of denim and/or shoes I tend to stick with them on a weekly basis for a while. So here I paired my go-tos with this pretty tank from Woodbury Lane (which I'm excited to transition into fall with) & a new favorite necklace from Parc.

Today, I also wanted to say thank you to everyone who has been really supportive of me opening up about anxiety on the blog. I knew it was something I wanted to talk about because I don't like to pretend that things are pretty and perfect all the time (they're not). Some other business owners, bloggers, and general readers have taken the time to shoot me an email or write a comment to let me know that they've experienced the same thing and I'm not alone. I thought that was so sweet. So thank you guys! ♥
