Creature of Habit + Glo Minerals Love
I think it's safe to say that I am really close to giving up on trying to solve the everlasting conundrum of dressing warm and cute simultaneously during a midwest winter! To be honest this type of outfit is pretty much what I'm wearing everyday lately. I miss my summer clothes. I have so much more variety with them! So recently I'm all about your basic blue jeans and a long sleeved top or sweater. And I'm pretty darn consistent about pairing them with this infinity scarf (made by my dear friend) and my Sorel boots. I suppose I'm a creature of habit - and hibernation - these days.
Onto some more exciting stuff beginning with my shirt. It may not look that exciting, but it actually is because it is a Woodbury Lane item and since you're cool enough to be reading my blog I'll let you in on a little secret. My second piece of exciting news is that I've discovered some new beauty products that I'm absolutely loving right now. If you know me, you know that my go-to products are always Glo Minerals and Aveda. You just can't go wrong. I recently got some new Glo products that I need to share with the world. The first is this lip crayon pictured below. I've never used anything like it. When I think "lip crayon" I usually think of a product that would dry out my lips and look very matte. This is the total opposite, it is almost hydrating and leaves a really simple glossy shine after application. It's something like a miracle. The second product I've started using is Glo's Eye-Revitalize. The best way to describe this product is simple. Think of the bags under your eyes as your skin cells sleeping, when you apply eye-revitalize it wakes your skin up making you look so much more alive awake ;) Okay, I realize that was entirely unscientific, but hey it's not easy to describe how awesome skin products are without sounding a little weird. Anyway, if you get a chance to test these products out I highly recommend them….cheers!
