Pink + Plaid

I feel like I might be breaking some rules here, but I'm really okay with that. Whenever I think Valentine's Day outfits my mind instantly thinks of pretty dresses, but for the past 3 years (AKA the only years I've ever had a Valentine) I've been anti-dresses during our celebratory dinner date. It's just too darn cold in Milwaukee! So whether or not I'm breaking some unwritten Valentine's Day rule by not wearing a skirt or dress really doesn't matter to me.

It's actually made me realize that sporting pants/leggings/jeans on Valentine's Day does not have to be boring! This year we're going to a hibachi restaurant to celebrate and I'm probably going to wear some combination of this outfit. A brightly hued coat for a pop of color makes any outfit more fun don't you think? :)
