Milwaukee Magazine: Urban Catwalk
All photos by Adam Ryan Morris via Milwaukee Magazine
I briefly mentioned this Milwaukee Magazine feature in a post last week and on my Facebook page, but the article is now available on the web too so I'm eager to share about the whole experience! The article's goal is to "dispel the myth that Milwaukee is saturated with sartorial slobs," by featuring 5 local fashion bloggers styled in a mix of top-of-the-line pieces and items from our own closets!
The photos were taken on an exciting morning back in early August. When I say morning I mean like the crack of dawn, pre-sunrise, 4:30am morning. Well worth it obviously :) I arrived at headquarters, got professional hair & make-up treatment, answered some questions and then hit the streets for the shoot! It was a little strange to feel like a celebrity for the day (okay more like 3 hours), but I'm so thankful to have gotten this opportunity! If you're a local Milwaukeean go pick up your copy of the October issue, not just because there happens to be some pictures of yours truly, but because this issue as actually really cool! It's all about reasons to love Milwaukee and I'm incredibly honored that Katelyn Now is one of them. ♥
My favorite thing about Milwaukee:
