Over-the-Knee Boots

When was the last time you felt like you were right where you belong? Apparently for me it had been quite awhile. I’ve been in Florida for a week and half now and everyday I am waking up thankful to have made this move. People have been telling me that I am brave and that it takes guts to up move over a thousand miles away from home, but the truth is the timing was so right for me. I really didn’t even have to think twice. I’ve already learned a lot about myself since I’ve been here. I’m stronger than I give myself credit for and I actually get excited about the future when I have the clarity that I craved. I’m also learning effective ways to find peace of mind that work for me. I’ve already made a few new friends and most importantly I’ve found an ideal local coffee joint that will double as my office ;)

Again, this is obviously an outfit that I wore back home, but it’s relevant because I’m seriously wishing I would have brought this dress and these boots down here with me. This is the one and only time in my life that I didn’t overpack. In fact I didn’t even remember to bring flip flops. Must’ve just been too excited for the sunshine to even think straight :)
