Beach Life

Since I've been in Florida I've had a lot of realizations, which is great considering that's partially what I came here for :) I've been reminded of how much I love learning new things and meeting new people. It's rare for me to wake up without an inspired heart these days. Inspired to make the most of each day in my new city and inspired to grow in some way. I’ve also thought a lot about that timeline that we all have in our heads for ourselves. If my life was going according to my “timeline” I wouldn’t be here right now, writing this post while soaking up the sun a 73 degree day in January, and that thought makes me sad. Although, I get bitter about the course of my timeline sometimes, lately I’ve taken a look at the big picture; I’m living in a tropical climate and may soon be working for a company that I love (more on that later), while intensely focusing on my physical and mental health…and even though this isn’t where I would be if my little mental timeline were accurate, it might be better :)

Enough about Florida, let’s talk about these pics. You might notice the white writing in the corner and that’s because not only was this shoot a chance for me to share what I’ve been wearing lately in this strange summer weather during winter, but the shoot was also a little project for a friend which I’m excited to reveal more about in a few weeks!! Xx
