My goal is to explore as much of this state as possible while I'm here. I've got Naples down pretty well so far and Fort Myers Beach area too. So when I was invited to attend a party thrown by URBN Inc. on Miami Beach I could not pass up the opportunity. I hadn't been to Miami in years and now I'm a mere 2 hours away. I made the drive with a new friend who put together the vlog below of our day (I've been having some serious luck scoping out the creatives around here). As you can tell from the pics it was pretty much the windiest day of my life. Beach wind is no joke you guys! But despite the wind we had fun grabbing coffee and roaming the boardwalk. As far as notable places we discovered, Hotel Croydon was our first stop. We grabbed coffee from the adorable barista - see video- at their cafe (The Grand Havana) and then at lunch at the restaurant in their lobby (The Tavern). After strolling the boardwalk we headed to the partayyy. It was located at the Freehand Miami which is technically a hostel, but so freaking cool! It was super unique and major boho, island vibes. I would highly recommend staying there if you're ever looking to book an affordable trip on Miami Beach. P.S. Midwest readers, there's one in Chicago too!
